Cerner LIS Legacy Data Analyst

We are seeking a Cerner LIS Legacy Data Analyst for a 6-month contract opportunity supporting a client in the Pacific time zone.

Responsibilities:

• Perform legacy data pulls, extracts, and reporting out of Cerner laboratory systems
• Analyze lab data structures to validate completeness and accuracy of extracted data
• Support laboratory system conversion, upgrade, archival, and decommissioning efforts
• Partner with lab operations and technical teams to define data retention and access requirements
• Document data mapping, extract logic, and reporting specifications
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies identified during validation and reconciliation
• Provide legacy data support for a Cerner LIS-to-Epic Beaker transition

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Cerner LIS experience, preferably in a complex, multi-hospital health system
• Deep understanding of Cerner laboratory applications, workflows, and underlying data structures
• Demonstrated experience with Cerner LIS legacy data pulls, extracts, reporting, and data analysis
• Experience supporting laboratory system conversions, upgrades, archival, or decommissioning initiatives
• Cerner PathNet and/or CoPath/CoPath Plus experience preferred
• Familiarity with Epic Beaker CP/AP or experience supporting a Cerner LIS-to-Epic Beaker transition
