As a Performance Trainer at NH Ross, you will be responsible for developing and executing training programs that enhance the skills and performance of our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical teams. Your goal is to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles. This position will involve assessing training needs, designing training curricula, and delivering engaging training sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical fields, along with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess training needs and develop comprehensive training programs for various roles within the company.
- Design and create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises.
- Deliver engaging and informative training sessions, both in-person and virtually.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to team members to reinforce learning and application of skills.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with management to align training initiatives with organizational goals and performance metrics.
- Proven experience in training and development, preferably in the HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industries.
- Strong understanding of technical systems and processes related to HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in designing training materials and curricula.
- Ability to assess training effectiveness and adapt programs accordingly.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in training and development is a plus.
