Role: MQ C Programmer
Location: Hybrid Onsite Dallas TX, Jersey city NJ and Tampa FL
Duration: Long-term
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using IBM MQ and C/C++.
- Develop messaging solutions utilizing IBM MQ APIs for synchronous and asynchronous communication.
- Build producer and consumer applications for enterprise messaging environments.
- Design and implement request/reply and publish/subscribe messaging patterns.
- Configure and manage IBM MQ queues, queue managers, channels, listeners, and topics.
- Develop high-performance, scalable, and fault-tolerant messaging applications.
- Troubleshoot IBM MQ connectivity, message delivery, and performance issues.
- Optimize message throughput, persistence, and queue management.
- Integrate IBM MQ with enterprise applications, databases, and middleware.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and production support.
- Collaborate with application developers, middleware teams, infrastructure teams, and business users.
- Analyze production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop technical documentation, coding standards, and deployment guides.
- Participate in application upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.
