Quick overview
Job description
If you've been looking for a financial services role where accuracy actually matters, where you're trusted to handle real work without someone looking over your shoulder, and where the team is small enough that you can see the difference you make every day, this might be the one.
We're hiring a Client Service Associate to replace a team member who is retiring. You'll keep the engine running so the advisor can stay focused on clients.
Who We Are
We're a retirement planning and wealth management practice in Woodstock, Georgia. Our lead advisor is also an estate planning attorney, which means our clients get something most firms can't offer: a single team that handles both their financial planning and their legal needs. We manage around $45 million in assets across 75 households, and most of our clients have been with us for years. The team is six people. Everyone carries real responsibility.
What You'll Do
Most of your days will look something like this:
- Manage the advisor's calendar and schedule client appointments
- Process service requests: RMDs, money movement, and account paperwork from start to finish
- Set up new client accounts and coordinate incoming transfers when new clients come on board
- Make outbound calls to clients and prospects to gather financial statements and documents needed for reviews
- Keep client records current in our CRM systems
- Pull data from client statements, enter it into our analysis tools, and build summary spreadsheets for the advisor
- Attend estate plan signing appointments as an official witness
- Print estate plans and ready them for client signing meetings
- Follow up on open items so nothing falls through the cracks
This is an in-office role, five days a week. Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a half-hour lunch.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- Accuracy above everything else. You double-check your work before anything goes out or gets processed. You don't guess, and you don't give clients information you're not certain about.
- Self-direction. You know what needs to happen next and you make it happen.
- Professional, polished communication. Your emails are clean. You're comfortable talking with high-net-worth clients.
- Clean background: no felonies, no bankruptcies.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in financial services (we've trained people from outside the industry before, but we'd love someone who already knows the language)
- Familiarity with the Schwab custodian platform
- Fluency with Excel
- Notary certification
We're very open to new ideas once you understand why we do things the way we do. Learn the system first. Then bring the ideas.
Who You Are
You notice the thing that's about to go wrong before it does. You don't guess when you're not sure, you check. You can manage a steady flow of tasks without getting rattled, and you communicate clearly without being prompted. You probably have some financial services background, or you've worked somewhere where accuracy and professionalism with clients was non-negotiable. You're not looking for a high-profile role. You want to do the work, do it well, and be part of a team that values that.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay: $18 - $25 depending on experience
- Health insurance stipend
- Paid time off
- Paid holidays
- Mileage reimbursement for work-related driving beyond your normal commute
- Monthly check-ins for your first 3 months so you always know where you stand
How to Apply
Submit your resume along with a brief note describing a time you caught a mistake or prevented an error before it turned into a bigger problem. Tell us what happened, what you noticed, and what you did about it.
Applications without this note will not be reviewed. This position is in-office in Woodstock, GA. No remote or hybrid arrangements are available.
