Lead Digital Experience Architect

The Lead Digital Experience Architect is responsible for defining and driving the architecture strategy, roadmap development, and solution design oversight across the PRS digital portfolio. This role ensures alignment with enterprise architecture standards, technology patterns, and modernization objectives, enabling scalable, reusable, and business-aligned digital platforms.

The position requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on architecture expertise, including governance, solution design, modernization planning, and support for Agile and DevOps delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and define architecture strategy and solution design direction for the digital experience portfolio.
• Develop and own digital architecture roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards, business priorities, and long-term modernization goals.
• Provide architectural governance and oversight to ensure consistency, scalability, and reuse across digital initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to define target-state architecture and guide execution from concept to delivery.
• Establish and enforce architecture governance frameworks, design patterns, and technology standards.
• Drive modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, SaaS transformation, and emerging digital capabilities.
• Lead the integration and implementation of agentic AI capabilities, including:
  • AI architecture patterns
  • Integration strategies
  • Governance models
  • Reusable AI-enabled services
• Support Agile and DevOps practices, ensuring efficient and scalable delivery models.
• Mentor and guide architecture teams to strengthen enterprise architecture discipline and best practices.
• Manage technology risk, scalability, and performance considerations across digital platforms.

Required Experience & Capabilities

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture, particularly in large-scale digital platforms.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Enterprise and Digital Experience Architecture
  • Application Architecture & Design Patterns
  • Microservices & API Architecture
  • Integration Patterns
  • Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
• Proven experience in modernization strategy, including legacy transformation and SaaS adoption.
• Hands-on experience working with engineering teams on detailed solution design and implementation.
• Exposure to AI-enabled technologies, automation capabilities, and enterprise AI adoption strategies.
• Strong understanding of architecture governance frameworks and standards.
• Experience supporting Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, business acumen, and executive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in insurance or financial services platforms.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture review boards and governance models.
• Experience driving large-scale digital transformation programs.
