Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager. The person in this role will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain a strong pipeline, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Daily responsibilities include researching target markets, conducting outreach via calls, emails, and virtual meetings, preparing tailored proposals, and delivering compelling presentations or demos to decision-makers. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align solutions with client needs and develop go-to-market strategies. The role also includes maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, tracking performance against targets, providing forecasts, and offering feedback on market trends and competitor activity. In addition, the individual will nurture existing accounts, seek upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and represent the company in virtual events or client briefings as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in a B2B or technology-driven environment.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, including the capacity to tailor messages to different stakeholders and decision-making levels.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand client challenges and translate them into practical solutions.
- Collaborative mindset, with experience partnering with marketing, product, and delivery teams to design and refine offerings.
- Experience working with international clients or across multiple regions is an advantage.
- Candidates having sales experience with BFSI industry would be preferred.
