Job Description

Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Java, .Net)

Location: Remote/NY ( Monthly in-person Travel mandatory)

Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)

Exp: Min 15 years

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack enterprise application development, Java/J2EE, .NET, Spring Boot, SQL, system integration, APIs, and relational databases. Experience within Health and Human Services (HHS) and Integrated Eligibility Systems is highly desirable.

The position requires a senior technical professional who can work independently, solve complex technical problems, collaborate with architects and stakeholders, and provide technical leadership across application development and integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement strategies and technologies for seamless integration of data, applications, and system interfaces.

Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications and technology solutions.

Analyze existing applications and source code to develop application interfaces, system workflows, and technical solutions.

Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

Develop and maintain system integrations, Web Services, APIs, and database-driven applications.

Analyze and document business processes, system flows, business rules, data mappings, and technical specifications.

Review existing source code and develop workflow diagrams and programming sequences.

Produce data mapping specifications related to application and database structures.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex application defects and production issues.

Participate in post-implementation incident resolution and application support.

Develop enhancements based on changing business and technical requirements.

Collaborate with technical leads, architects, developers, business analysts, testers, and other stakeholders.

Ensure development activities align with project plans, timelines, technical standards, and priorities.

Produce technical documentation and project deliverables throughout the SDLC.

Contribute to continuous improvement of application architecture, integration patterns, development practices, and system performance.

 

Required Experience

15+ years of experience implementing enterprise technologies and frameworks, with hands-on experience in full-stack development using J2EE, Spring Boot, Java, C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, or comparable modern object-oriented technologies.

10+ years of experience analyzing and debugging SQL queries, stored procedures, PL/SQL, and relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.

7+ years of experience working on complex projects.

2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role as a System Integration Engineer.

Preferred Experience

5+ years developing and supporting enterprise web applications using Java EE, .NET Core/.NET 6/.NET 8, JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, Oracle, SQL Server, DevSecOps, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD.

6 months–1 year of experience working on an Integrated Eligibility System (IES) within a Health and Human Services environment.

5+ years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated/unit testing frameworks.
