Oracle Cloud Projects Functional Consultant

Position Title: Oracle Projects Consultant (Capital Projects)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Projects Consultant with strong expertise in capital-intensive project environments, preferably within the telecommunications, fiber, utilities, or infrastructure industries. The consultant will be responsible for supporting Oracle Projects implementations, enhancements, and business process optimization initiatives related to project costing, capital expenditures (CapEx), project accounting, asset capitalization, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support Oracle Projects (Oracle PPM/Projects) implementations and enhancements.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle Projects solutions.

• Project Financials and Project Management
• Configure and support Oracle Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Accounting, and Capital Projects modules.
• Work closely with Finance, PMO, Engineering, and Operations teams to support capital-intensive projects.
• Support project lifecycle processes including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, capitalization, and asset management.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system issues and provide functional recommendations.
• Develop functional specifications and support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production deployment.
• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, data conversions, and reporting requirements.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Oracle Projects / Oracle PPM functional experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle Project Costing, Project Accounting, Project Billing, and Capital Projects.
• Experience supporting capital-intensive projects in telecommunications, fiber, utilities, construction, or infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of CapEx, asset capitalization, project accounting, budgeting, and financial controls.
• Experience gathering business requirements and leading client workshops.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle E-Business Suite implementations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with telecom or Fiber network deployment projects.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
• Knowledge of Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Procurement modules.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Oracle certifications are a plus.
