We are looking for Data Engineer - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Richmond VA

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $76.26hr - $81.26hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 3+ years of professional work experience.
- Extensive experience building visualizations and dashboards to help effectively tell a story behind the data.
- Experience working on the UI using Javascript, HTML, CSS.
- Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight or similar reporting tools.
- Knowledge of information design principles and data visualization methods.
- Robust portfolio outlining your work and previous projects.
- Extensive problem solving experience and self-starter attitude.
- Ability to pass an Enhanced Background Check - Moderate.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, development, validation of emerging and ongoing metrics, reports, analysis, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions using Tableau as your primary data visualization tool.
- Design and develop intuitive dashboards and data visualization products using Tableau and any other business intelligence tools in future.
- Quick to learn new data visualization tools like Looker, Einstein Analytics etc. to analyze results, evaluate performance, and project future trends and needs.
- Champion processes and procedures across the organization.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Explore, extract, cleanse and combine data from multiple sources and systems.
- Continually improve data quality, build monitoring tools and issue alerts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, design and execute a solution end to end as well as investigate new technologies to improve data pipelines.
- Lead dashboard demo sessions, develop training materials and produce dashboard documentation.
