Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Mobile App QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on automation development experience to design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for iOS and Android applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile applications.
• Build automation solutions from scratch including framework architecture, reusable components, utilities, and reporting capabilities.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform cross-platform testing across iOS and Android devices.
• Analyze test execution results, investigate failures, and perform root cause analysis.
• Create automated dashboards, reports, and quality metrics to provide visibility into release readiness and product quality.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, UX/UI teams, Business Analysts, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, requirements reviews, and design discussions to identify quality risks early.
• Lead defect triage activities and validate bug fixes through targeted regression testing.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business stakeholders.
• Execute post-release smoke testing and production validation activities.
• Establish automation standards, coding practices, framework governance, and QA best practices.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, and testing processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience with strong focus on automation engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on mobile application testing experience across iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Hands-on experience with Appium, Playwright, Espresso, Maestro, or similar automation tools.
• Playwright and Appium experience highly preferred.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Experience automating native, hybrid, and mobile web applications.
• Experience with cloud-based device testing platforms such as BrowserStack, LambdaTest, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, branching strategies, and source control best practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Strong understanding of test data management, framework architecture, reporting, and automation best practices.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
