We are currently working with a client who are looking for a skilled SharePoint SME for an initial 6-month contract based in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical SharePoint projects, supporting both on-premises and Microsoft 365 platforms. The role requires hands-on technical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to resolve complex SharePoint issues.

What you'll be doing:
Lead upgrades from SharePoint 2019 to Subscription Edition (SE)
Manage and support SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365)
Ensure platform performance, security, and reliability
Collaborate with teams to optimise SharePoint environments and implement enhancements
Act as a 3rd line escalation point for complex SharePoint issues

What you'll bring:
Strong expertise in SharePoint Server 2019 & Subscription Edition
Experience supporting and managing SharePoint Online (M365)
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint issues
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools such as OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange Online (desirable)
Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) (desirable)
Exposure to Microsoft Copilot / AI capabilities (desirable)
Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102), Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), Power Platform Developer (PL-400), or Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) are preferred
