Oracle APEX Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, SQL, and REST integrations while collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX.
• Develop complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
• Build interactive reports, dashboards, forms, interactive grids, charts, and faceted search pages.
• Develop RESTful API integrations using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
• Customize UI using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Dynamic Actions.
• Optimize database performance through SQL tuning and query optimization.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.
• Integrate Oracle APEX applications with Oracle Cloud, Fusion Applications, or third-party systems.
• Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, code reviews, testing, and production deployments.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, bug fixes, and performance enhancements.
• Create technical documentation and support UAT activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Oracle Application Express (APEX) development experience.
• Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
• Experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c.
• Hands-on experience with ORDS and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Forms, Charts, and Dashboards.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of Oracle security, authentication, authorization, and session management.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
• Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher.
• Experience with OAuth2, SSO, and Identity Management.
• Familiarity with Redwood UI and responsive application development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Oracle APEX Certification is preferred.
