SAFe Enterprise Project Manager

Position: SAFe Enterprise Project Manager

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall IT experience.
• 12+ years of Project/Program Management experience leading enterprise-scale application development initiatives.
• 8+ years of experience working in SAFe environments.
• 5+ years serving as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) on Agile Release Trains consisting of 100+ team members.
• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
• PMP Certification (Active and in good standing).
• SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) Certification required.
• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or equivalent Agile certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree (MBA, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline) required.
• Experience managing annual budgets exceeding $20M.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams across North America, Europe, and Asia.
• Experience leading at least three enterprise-wide digital transformation programs exceeding $50M in total project value.
• Proven experience reporting directly to C-Level executives and steering committees.

Technical Requirements

• Previous hands-on software development experience (Java, .NET, Cloud-native applications, APIs, Microservices).
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud migrations.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with SAP integrations, Salesforce integrations, and enterprise middleware platforms.
• Expertise in Clarity PPM, Open Workbench, Jira Align, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, cybersecurity governance, and application modernization initiatives.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience within Automotive Sales, Logistics, Dealer Management, Supply Chain, or Connected Vehicle platforms.
• Experience supporting at least one Fortune 100 automotive manufacturer.
• Experience delivering projects involving vehicle ordering systems, dealer systems, inventory management, logistics optimization, and digital retail platforms.
• Experience with automotive ERP, CRM, and supply chain ecosystems.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Agile Release Trains simultaneously.
• Directly manage Program Managers, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Vendor teams.
• Establish enterprise Agile governance and PMO standards.
• Drive PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and Executive Steering Committee meetings.
• Develop executive-level business cases and transformation roadmaps.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and contract negotiations exceeding $10M.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience serving as both Enterprise Architect and Program Manager.
• Lean Portfolio Management certification.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience with AI/ML-enabled automotive platforms.
• Experience supporting autonomous vehicle, connected vehicle, or mobility services
