Opportunity for advancement
Aurum Wireless is building a specialized commercial Starlink division around an opportunity very few sales organizations in the country have access to.
Through our commercial channel, we can offer businesses highly competitive Starlink pricing, exclusive offers, and pooled-data plans that aren’t available through the standard retail buying experience. This gives our salespeople a genuine competitive advantage—especially in rural and underserved markets where reliable connectivity remains a major problem.
This is not residential door-to-door satellite sales. You will work directly with farmers, rural business owners, agribusinesses, construction companies, multi-location operations, campgrounds, remote facilities, and other organizations that need dependable internet.
What You’ll Sell
Commercial Starlink internet
Primary connectivity for underserved locations
Backup internet for businesses that cannot afford downtime
Pooled-data solutions for businesses operating multiple locations or Starlink terminals
Connectivity for farms, remote sites, mobile operations, and temporary job locations
What You’ll Do
Build a pipeline of rural and commercial customers
Prospect through phone calls, field visits, referrals, partnerships, and local business organizations
Meet directly with owners and decision-makers
Identify problems with speed, reliability, coverage, and downtime
Recommend the right commercial Starlink configuration
Prepare quotes and guide customers through the sales and activation process
Develop referral relationships with agricultural organizations, equipment dealers, chambers of commerce, IT providers, and other rural business partners
Maintain organized follow-up and sales activity in our CRM
Why This Role Is Different
Most internet salespeople compete against several companies offering nearly identical products. This position gives you something genuinely different to bring into the market.
You will represent:
A nationally recognized connectivity product
Commercial pricing and offers with extremely limited market availability
Pooled-data plans standard sellers cannot provide
A solution to an obvious and expensive business problem
A large rural market with very little direct sales competition
An opportunity to help build a new sales division from the beginning
In many rural markets, the competition is not another salesperson. The customer’s alternative is continuing to tolerate slow, unreliable, or unavailable internet.
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a strong fit if you:
Are comfortable initiating conversations and creating your own opportunities
Can speak naturally with farmers, business owners, and operational leaders
Know how to explain technology without making it unnecessarily complicated
Are persistent, organized, and capable of managing a large territory
Want to sell a product with a clear competitive advantage
Prefer building a market instead of fighting over the same recycled leads
Experience in B2B sales, agriculture, telecommunications, equipment, construction, technology, insurance, or rural markets is helpful but not required. Commercial Starlink training will be provided.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than another ordinary sales position. The right person will have room to grow alongside the commercial Starlink division as Aurum Wireless expands it into additional markets. Flexible work from home options available.
