Position Summary: An EDW QE professional is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data within the data warehouse environment Their key responsibilities include validating ETL processes using AI tools verifying source-to-target data mappings, testing data transformations leveraging AI CoPilot/Python, and ensuring that reports and dashboards reflect accurate business information. They collaborate closely with data engineers, business analysts, and developers to identify data issues, create comprehensive test plans and test cases and support defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis: Perform backend testing to compare data in source systems to target Medicaid Enterprise Data Warehouses Verify source-to-target data mapping and transformation logic for Medicaid datasets.
• Validate data quality standardization rules and loading accuracy.
• SQL & Scripting: Write complex SQL queries to validate ETL outputs against business rules.
• Design test plans, test cases and test scenarios for ETL and data warehouse processes.
• Collaborate with ETL developers to resolve defects and perform system tests, system integration tests, smoke tests, & regression testing.
• Automation: Develop automated database validation scripts using AI tools, Python, SQL Alchemy and Pandas.
• Exposure to AI ML model validation or testing data pipelines that support machine learning workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills Deep proficiency in SQL and relational database systems,
• Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Direct experience with Medicaid systems, HIPAA, claims eligibility, provider data, or clinical standards like ICD 9, 10, CPT, and HL7. ETL Knowledge: Strong understanding of EDW and ETL concepts, including Star/Snowflake schema, Slowly Changing
• Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of QA/testing experience in data warehouse ETL or healthcare analytics environments
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science information systems data Analytics or related field.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and familiarity with data visualization tools
• Required AI Skills Consistent Use Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of AI tools such as GitHub
• Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with state Medicaid agencies
• Python Test Automation and GitHub Code Management tools.
