Job Description

Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer - Secure Cloud & Collaboration Platforms

Join a major secure ICT transformation program as a Senior M365 Engineer, leading the design, delivery and assurance of Microsoft 365 services across complex multi-domain environments. This role suits an experienced engineer with deep M365 architecture, governance, hybrid integration and secure collaboration platform expertise.

Location: ACT or VIC
Contract Duration: ASAP to December 2026 + options to extend
Security Clearance Requirement: Current NV1 or NV2 clearance required

Essential Tasks
  • Lead the architecture and design of secure Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Oversee technical delivery aligned to milestones, capability and security needs.
  • Provide governance across solution design, risk, compliance and service assurance.
  • Coordinate cross-team activities and resolve escalated M365 technical issues.
Key Criteria
  • Strong experience in M365 tenant design, landing zones and service enablement.
  • Expertise in governance, lifecycle management, change and release assurance.
  • Experience with hybrid integration, Entra Connect and identity federation.
  • Strong knowledge of secure ICT frameworks, resilience, backup and data lifecycle.
