Junior Cybersecurity Business Analyst with Security Clearance

Junior Cybersecurity Business Analyst Remote / DMV Area Blu Omega is seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Business Analyst to support a federal program focused on enterprise cybersecurity support services for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for supporting cybersecurity program activities, including requirements gathering, process documentation, task tracking, and schedule management. The position requires the ability to support day-to-day program operations and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Program Overview Location: Remote (must be local to the DMV) Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering and documenting user and functional requirements
• Help identify tasks, dependencies, and resources needed to support project activities
• Document processes, workflows, meeting notes, and action items
• Maintain trackers, schedules, project documentation, and status reports
• Gather information from technical team members and organize it into clear documentation
• Assist with reports, presentations, dashboards, and other program materials
• Support meetings and track follow-up items
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and program team members on assigned projects Required Qualifications
• No prior professional experience required
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to learn new technologies and processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, academic, project, or coursework exposure to IT, cybersecurity, business analysis, or project management is a plus
• Recent graduates, Junior Business Analysts, Project Coordinators, Program Analysts, IT Analysts, Business Analyst Interns, Cybersecurity graduates are good profiles to target Compensation Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
