Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) platform team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, building, and supporting high-volume, customer-facing applications using React and Node.js.

The ideal candidate is an experienced full stack developer who has built scalable web applications capable of supporting millions of users and high transaction volumes. Experience developing authentication and identity capabilities is important, but this is primarily a software engineering role, not an IAM administration role.

The successful candidate should be comfortable owning features end-to-end from responsive UI development through backend APIs, security, performance optimization, cloud deployment, and production support.

Primary Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern React and Node.js applications.

Build scalable, secure, and resilient customer-facing applications.

Develop RESTful APIs and backend services.

Design solutions capable of supporting high transaction volumes and large user populations.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Develop reusable UI components and backend services.

Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.

Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX designers, and QA teams.

Follow secure software development best practices throughout the SDLC.

Required Technical Skills : Front-End

Expert experience with React.js

TypeScript / JavaScript (ES6+)

HTML5 / CSS3

Responsive web application development

State management (Redux, Context API, etc.)

Component-driven architecture

REST API integration

Unit and integration testing

Back-End

Strong experience with Node.js

Express.js or similar frameworks

REST API design and development

Microservices architecture

API security

Database design and integration (SQL and NoSQL)

Asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures

Cloud & DevOps

Microsoft Azure experience

Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) preferred

Docker

Kubernetes

Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

CI/CD pipelines

Git

High-Volume Application Experience (Required)

Candidates should have demonstrated experience developing applications that support:

High transaction volumes

Large customer populations

High availability and resiliency

Performance optimization

Horizontal scalability

Distributed systems

API performance tuning

Caching strategies (Redis or similar)

Monitoring and observability

Production troubleshooting

Experience building customer-facing applications supporting hundreds of thousands or millions of users is highly desirable.

CIAM Domain Knowledge

Experience implementing customer identity capabilities is required, including familiarity with:

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience

5+ years developing enterprise applications using React

5+ years developing backend services using Node.js

Experience building cloud-native applications

Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes

Experience building and supporting production systems

Strong understanding of secure application development

Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
