We are looking for a Graduate Software Quality Assurance professional to join an innovative engineering business developing advanced technology solutions for global customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer looking to build a career in software testing and quality assurance within a collaborative engineering environment.
Working alongside Software, Hardware and Firmware Engineers, you will help validate cutting-edge products through manual and automated testing, ensuring systems perform reliably in both laboratory and real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Execute manual and automated software testing.
- Create test plans, test cases and validation reports.
- Investigate and document software issues.
- Support system integration and validation activities.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Key Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Understanding of software testing and system validation.
- Knowledge of one or more of: C#, C++, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a technical engineering environment.
Desirable
- Automated testing experience.
- Embedded systems or hardware/software integration knowledge.
- Git, Agile methodologies and defect tracking tools.
