Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Java) with strong expertise in Java, Microservices, and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable enterprise applications and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and software delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·           5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and design patterns.

· 4+ years of experience with J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and RESTful API development.

· 4+ years of experience in AngularJS, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, and responsive web application development.

· 3+ years of experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and database performance tuning.

· 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Microservices architecture and API integrations.

· 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

· 5+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading technical initiatives.

· Strong expertise in troubleshooting, production support, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis.

· 5+ years of experience with unit testing, integration testing, JUnit, Mockito, and code quality tools.

· Proven ability to mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive technical solutions across cross-functional teams.

AI / Generative AI Experience (Preferred)

·           Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Amazon Q, Cursor, Claude, Gemini Code Assist, or similar for code generation, refactoring, debugging, documentation, and test case creation.

· Experience applying Generative AI to accelerate software development, improve developer productivity, and streamline application modernization.

· Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering techniques for software engineering tasks.

· Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs (such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini) into enterprise applications.

· Ability to validate AI-generated code and ensure compliance with enterprise coding standards, security best practices, and quality requirements.

· Experience using AI for code reviews, impact analysis, performance optimization, technical documentation, and automated test generation across Java and React codebases.

· Understanding of secure AI development practices, responsible AI usage, and protecting sensitive enterprise data while using AI coding assistants.
