Job Description:

• Application Management-Development-Jave Integration Developer(Java 8, Camel, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Microservices, Rest API
• Day to Day Job Duties: (What this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise software applications throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Develop and support Java and Spring Boot-based enterprise applications, reusable services, APIs, integrations, and full-stack solutions.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and coding agents such as Devin, GitHub Copilot, Tachyon AI, or comparable technologies to improve engineering productivity and accelerate software delivery.
• Identify appropriate development activities that can be delegated to AI coding agents, review generated solutions, troubleshoot issues, validate code quality, and integrate approved code into enterprise applications.
• Rapidly develop full-stack proofs of concept, prototypes, and practical internal engineering tools using AI-assisted development workflows.
• Convert successful prototypes and proofs of concept into reusable enterprise tools, APIs, services, and application components.
• Design and develop REST APIs, reusable components, enterprise integrations, and application services supporting document composition, generation, and delivery platforms.
• Develop, enhance, and support applications used for enterprise document generation and related business processes.
• Support Java/Spring Boot full-stack applications and UI components using technologies such as Angular and/or React.
• Develop automation and engineering utilities using Python and shell scripting.
• Perform application-side administration and troubleshooting across Linux and Windows environments.
• Support the migration of Linux and Windows servers running OpenText Exstream from legacy data centers to new data centers.
• Coordinate server and application migration activities, including middleware patching, upgrades, application validation, and post-migration stabilization.
• Maintain and enhance application user interfaces as required during migration and modernization activities.
• Monitor application stability, performance, and operational health during and after migration activities.
• Develop automation to improve repeatable engineering, migration, deployment, testing, and operational processes.
• Partner with infrastructure, platform, QA, application, middleware, and operations teams to address resiliency, performance, deployment, and production-support requirements.
• Develop and support enterprise integrations using REST APIs, Kafka, AVRO, Apigee, and related technologies.
• Work with relational databases including PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
• Support application persistence and data-access layers using Hibernate, JPA, and related technologies.
• Support containerized applications and platform deployments using OpenShift and related container technologies.
• Work with middleware and application-server technologies such as Tomcat and JBoss.
• Participate in application deployment strategies including Blue-Green deployments, feature toggles, and resilient application design patterns.
• Use technologies such as Liquibase, Harness, circuit breaker patterns, and related tools to support controlled and reliable application releases.
• Develop and maintain automated testing using JUnit, Karate, Cucumber, and related testing frameworks.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices where appropriate.
• Use observability and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics or equivalent platforms to identify and troubleshoot application issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, architecture discussions, release planning, production support, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications: (What are the skills required for this job with minimum years of experience on each)

• Minimum 6+ years of overall software engineering experience, including enterprise application development, full SDLC delivery, and Agile development practices.
• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and/or Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Experience developing full-stack enterprise applications.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with Angular and/or React.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience using Python and shell scripting for development, automation, or operational activities.
• Experience with SQL and relational database technologies, including PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
• Experience supporting applications across Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale, high-volume applications and systems.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents or AI-assisted software-development tools to accelerate engineering delivery.
• Experience identifying and delegating appropriate software-development tasks to AI coding agents and reviewing, validating, and integrating generated code.
• Experience using Devin or comparable autonomoagentic coding tools.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot as part of software-development workflows.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted engineering for rapid prototyping, full-stack proof-of-concept development, code generation, testing, troubleshooting, and engineering automation.
• Ability to convert successful AI-assisted prototypes into reusable internal tools, APIs, application services, and enterprise components.
• Strong understanding of software design, coding standards, code reviews, testing, debugging, and application-quality practices.
• Experience collaborating with infrastructure, platform, QA, application, and production-support teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within Agile delivery models and enterprise SDLC standards.
