AWS Cloud Engineer – Python

Role Overview

We are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer – Python with strong backend development and cloud engineering experience to build scalable cloud solutions, integrate GenAI/RAG capabilities, and develop production-ready applications in AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend applications and tools using Python.
• Design and implement serverless and event-driven architectures on AWS.
• Integrate existing GenAI, LLM, and RAG solutions into internal applications and chatbots.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services.
• Develop rapid prototypes and production-ready solutions.
• Collaborate with local and offshore engineering teams.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform/IaC.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Follow software engineering best practices for testing, version control, usability, and scalability.

Required Skills

• 2–8 years of software/cloud engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Python backend development.
• Strong AWS experience with Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, EKS/ECS, and ALB.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong understanding of serverless and event-driven architecture.
• Experience developing production-grade cloud applications.
• Knowledge of ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with APIs, data structures, message schemas, and distributed systems.
• Experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GenAI, LLM, RAG, or chatbot integration.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with High-Performance Computing or distributed processing.
• AWS Developer certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with Boto3 or other AWS SDKs.
