AS/400 COBOL Developer

We are looking for an experienced AS/400 COBOL Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting IBM iSeries applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in COBOL, RPG/RPGLE, DB2, SQL, and AS/400 technologies while working in an Agile environment.

• 8+ years of experience with AS/400 (IBM iSeries)
• Strong programming experience in COBOL
• Hands-on experience with RPG/RPGLE
• Expertise in DB2 database development and optimization
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills
• Experience troubleshooting batch and interactive applications
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices in IBM i environments
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) teams
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Develop, enhance, and maintain AS/400 COBOL and RPG applications.
• Design and optimize DB2 databases and SQL queries.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex production issues.
• Support batch processing and interactive applications.
• Collaborate with modernization teams to integrate legacy systems with modern platforms.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
