Job Description

Our client is a leading private credit asset manager with approximately €15bn of assets under management across a diversified platform including Direct Lending, CLOs, and Opportunistic Credit strategies. Following continued growth and increased investor demand across its product suite, the firm is seeking to appoint a Vice President within its Investor Relations team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Investor Relations, this individual will serve as the second-most senior member of the team and play a pivotal role in supporting all investor-facing activities across the platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key investor relationships, leading due diligence and fundraising processes, coordinating complex strategic projects, and acting as a trusted partner to both senior management and the broader investment team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre Investor Relations professional looking to step into a leadership position within an established and growing private credit franchise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a senior member of the Investor Relations function, partnering closely with the Head of Investor Relations across fundraising, investor engagement, and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for existing and prospective institutional investors globally.
  • Lead and coordinate responses to due diligence requests, RFPs, DDQs, and other investor-related information requests.
  • Manage investor communications, including quarterly reporting, portfolio updates, fund presentations, and ad hoc requests.
  • Support fundraising activities across the firm's Direct Lending, CLO, and Opportunistic Credit strategies.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Product Specialists, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to deliver high-quality investor materials and reporting.
  • Drive and oversee the production of marketing collateral, fundraising documentation, and investor presentations.
  • Participate in investor meetings, annual meetings, roadshows, and industry conferences.
  • Lead key internal projects designed to enhance the firm's investor experience, reporting framework, and operational scalability.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and day-to-day support to more junior members of the Investor Relations team, helping to develop their technical and commercial capabilities.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of portfolio performance, market dynamics, and strategy developments to effectively communicate the firm's investment proposition.

Candidate Profile

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience within Investor Relations, Fundraising, or Client Services at a private credit asset manager.
  • Demonstrable experience working across private credit strategies, ideally including direct lending and broader credit products.
  • Strong understanding of institutional fundraising processes and investor due diligence requirements.
  • Previous experience managing complex investor relationships and supporting fundraises with institutional allocators.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior professionals, although this role does not carry direct people management responsibilities.
  • Exceptional project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with experience preparing sophisticated investor-facing materials.
  • Highly commercial, detail-oriented, and capable of operating effectively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent academic credentials required.

Candidates from the following backgrounds will not be considered:
