Lead PKI Security Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Lead PKI Security Engineer in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Manage and support digital certificate lifecycle processes across enterprise environments
* Administer and maintain cryptographic infrastructure and related security platforms
* Implement and uphold encryption, key protection, and security governance standards
* Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve certificate and authentication-related issues
* Automate security processes and improve operational efficiency through scripting and infrastructure tools
* Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and security of critical systems

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
* 6+ years of experience in information security, infrastructure security, or a related technical discipline
* Experience supporting enterprise cryptography, digital certificate management, and secure authentication solutions
* Knowledge of encryption technologies, key management practices, and security best practices
* Hands-on experience with security infrastructure, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code tools
* Ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot secure authentication and certificate services
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
* Experience developing scripts and automating operational processes
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment
* Security certifications are a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
