Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and certified Snowflake Architect to lead the design, migration, and implementation of scalable data platform solutions. In this role, you will define architecture blueprints, design enterprise data warehouses, optimize data pipelines, and ensure best practices in data modeling, security, and governance on the Snowflake Data Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Strategy: Architect, design, and implement end-to-end modern Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions on Snowflake.
Data Migration: Lead migration initiatives from legacy databases/warehouses (Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, SQL Server) to Snowflake.
Pipeline & Integration: Design robust ETL/ELT data ingestion and transformation pipelines using tools like DBT, Snowpipe, Matillion, Talend, or Informatica.
Data Modeling: Implement dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas), Data Vault 2.0, and 3NF models optimized for cloud scale.
Performance Tuning: Optimize warehouse sizing, clustering keys, materialized views, caching strategies, and query performance to minimize compute costs.
Security & Governance: Implement Snowflake security features, including RBAC, masking policies, row-level security (RLS), external tokenization, and integration with enterprise identity providers.
Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with client stakeholders, business analysts, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical architectures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of overall IT experience with 4+ years of dedicated hands-on architecture experience in Snowflake.
Cloud Platforms: Strong knowledge of major cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and their native integration with Snowflake (e.g., S3/Blob storage, IAM, Lambda/Azure Functions).
Languages: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or Snowpark.
ETL/ELT: Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools (DBT, Airflow, Kafka, Spark).

Certifications: Snowflake SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced Architect certification (highly preferred).
Communication: Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a global delivery/consulting model.
Familiarity with Data Mesh and modern Data Governance frameworks (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
Experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines for database objects (e.g., Flyway, Liquibase, GitHub Actions).
