Automation Engineer

Amazon is seeking an Automation Engineer to support advanced material handling systems at our EWR5 fulfillment center. In this on-site role, you will design, program, and optimize PLCs, robotics, and conveyor systems to maximize safety, uptime, and throughput. You'll partner closely with RME, operations, and safety teams to drive root cause analysis, implement upgrades, and deliver continuous improvement projects. Using data-driven insights, you'll troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment, own automation roadmaps, and help scale innovative technologies that power Amazon's customer-obsessed operations.
