Solutions Architect

Solution Architect – 6-month Initial contract – Active SC Clearance – London/remote

My customer is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to design and deliver infrastructure solutions across data centre and application migrations within a major transformation programme. You'll provide architectural leadership, manage technical risks, and ensure successful delivery from design through to implementation.

Required Skills from the Solution Architect:

• Must be Actively SC Cleared
• Experience working in Critical National Infrastructure environments
• Previous experience as an Infrastructure Solution Architect or Infrastructure Designer.
• Strong background in infrastructure, data centre and application migrations.
• Experience producing solution designs and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies and secure network architecture, including DMZ environments.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities from the Solution Architect:

• Design infrastructure solutions for transformation and migration projects.
• Produce solution designs and technical documentation.
• Support data centre and application migrations.
• Identify and manage technical risks, issues and dependencies.
• Work closely with project teams and third-party suppliers.
• Provide technical oversight throughout project delivery.
• Support transition activities, including legacy infrastructure decommissioning.

The Infrastructure Solution Architect is required 2 to 3 days a week in the London office.
