Our client is the Large Federal Government organisation who are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Governance Analyst to join their team in Canberra, ACT .

Role summary:

The Senior Cyber Security Governance Analyst will support the cyber security GRC activities as part of its resilience uplift program. The role will focus on developing security and GRC documentation, coordinating security assurance activities and working with stakeholders to achieve cyber security outcomes. During electoral events, the role will also support election-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to security solution design, review security requirements and develop documentation to support senior executive decision-making.

Lead the development of formal cyber security GRC documentation, including SSPs, SRMPs, SSP Annex/SoA and security authorisation documentation.

Coordinate security assurance activities, including IRAP assessments and penetration testing, and support findings, actions and remediation.

Work collaboratively with stakeholders and security teams to achieve required outcomes.

Selection Criteria:

  • Knowledge of the Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Essential Eight.
  • Demonstrated experience and capability performing a cyber security GRC role and developing GRC documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder/client interactions to achieve outcomes.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in related roles is desirable.
