Director Data Governance

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Data Governance to lead the organization’s enterprise data governance strategy, ensuring data is trusted, secure, and accessible across the business. This leader will establish governance frameworks, drive Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives, improve data quality, and partner with executive leadership to enable data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience implementing enterprise data governance programs, leading cross-functional initiatives, and leveraging modern data management platforms such as Profisee, Atlan, and Monte Carlo.

Evidence of measurable ROI through quantifiable business outcomes, adoption metrics, and executive reporting—not just successful implementation of data quality initiatives.

Enterprise integration expertise connecting MDM, Data Catalog, AI, Databricks, and reporting platforms into a unified data ecosystem, avoiding siloed implementations.

Develop and execute the enterprise Data Governance strategy, policies, standards, and operating model.

● Lead Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives utilizing Profisee to improve data consistency, accuracy, and stewardship.

● Implement and manage enterprise data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage using Atlan.

● Establish and oversee enterprise data quality monitoring and governance processes leveraging Monte Carlo.

● Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align data governance initiatives with strategic business objectives.

● Build and lead cross-functional governance councils, data stewardship programs, and organizational change initiatives.
