Role Summary

Seeking a Maximo Techno-Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience implementing, administering, and migrating IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.0. The consultant will support end-to-end Maximo migration, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-production stabilization across North American locations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–10 years of Maximo experience.
  • Mandatory: Hands-on IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.0 experience.
  • Experience upgrading Maximo 7.5/7.6 to MAS 9.0.
  • Experience launching/implementing MAS 9.0 and understanding implementation runbooks and best practices.
  • Strong Maximo administrative and functional knowledge.
  • Experience with Maximo configuration, workflows, integrations, automation scripts, security, reporting, and data.
  • Ability to technically manage a Maximo project end-to-end, from planning through go-live and stabilization.
  • Automotive or manufacturing industry experience is required.
  • Experience conducting workshops and training end users and train-the-trainer resources.
  • Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with regional Maximo teams across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to Canada and Mexico as needed for UAT and go-live activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess Maximo configurations, customizations, workflows, integrations, and data before migration.
  • Plan and coordinate MAS 9.0 migration activities, environments, infrastructure, security, and connectivity.
  • Support database exports, customization archives, deployment, testing, and migration validation.
  • Configure and administer MAS/Maximo environments.
  • Lead UAT, workflow, reporting, and integration testing.
  • Monitor Maximo logs, crontasks, integration queues, and system performance.
  • Manage users, security roles, access controls, and segregation of duties.
  • Validate assets, work orders, inventory, PMs, job plans, scheduling, and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support go-live and stabilization.
  • Develop documentation, runbooks, training materials, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
  • Train regional Maximo administrators and end users.
  • Review KPIs, reports, system performance, and maintenance backlogs.
  • Support upgrades, patches, fixes, automation scripts, workflows, and integrations.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize Maximo using AI and predictive analytics capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business teams, IT/NAITS teams, regional Maximo leads, IBM, and external vendors.
