SEL is seeking a PCB Designer to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment designing printed circuit boards for high-reliability applications. Pay Range Information:
$32.00 - $48.00 per hour. Our salary ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.

As a PCB Designer, a typical day might include the following:
- Design and develop PCB layouts from schematics under the mentorship of experienced Designers and Engineers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to translate schematic intent into reliable PCB designs.
- Schedule and lead design review meetings for assigned projects, incorporating feedback and driving design improvements.
- Apply engineering change orders (ECOs) to PCB layouts and associated documentation.
- Perform component placement, routing, and design rule implementation with attention to signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturability.
- Perform Layout based simulations.
- Generate fabrication and assembly documentation (Gerbers, drawings, BOMs) to support manufacturing.
- Support PCB fabrication, assembly, and test by working with internal teams and external vendors to resolve design issues.
- Adhere to and help maintain PCB design standards and IPC guidelines.
This job might be for you if:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline, OR equivalent professional experience
- Experience with CAD tools (such as Allegro, Xpedition, Altium, Solidworks, or similar CAD platforms).
- Experience creating and managing ECAD libraries (symbols, footprints, and components).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple designs and deadlines.
