The Role • Engage in hands-on work with children in a social setting, under guided mentorship. • Participate in daily childcare tasks, focusing on individual child development and integration into the group. • Develop and implement engaging, play-based activities to foster children's skills. • Serve as a point of contact for parents and/or educators. • Document and reflect on your practical work and learning experiences. • Gain specialized knowledge in areas such as educational work with children, family support, or leadership in social institutions. What You'll Need • (Technical) high school diploma, a qualified vocational qualification, or recognized higher vocational training (e.g., staatlich geprüfter Techniker, Betriebswirt). • German language proficiency at B2 level. • A genuine passion for working with children. • Patience, resilience in stressful situations, and assertiveness. • Empathy, a sense of responsibility, and a strong interest in social issues. • An interest in both the practical aspects and the theoretical underpinnings of childhood education.
