The OpportunityIn this role, you'll play a key part in the technical delivery, project management, and client engagement of water infrastructure projects locally and nationally. You'll be supported by experienced leaders while having the autonomy to take ownership of your projects and help drive commercial and technical success.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver technical design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Lead and contribute to the design of pipelines, pump stations, intakes, water retaining structures
- Apply project management principles to meet program, budget, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated project outcomes
- Provide technical input into bids and proposals
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to winning repeat work
- Ensure designs meet relevant standards, client requirements, and SMEC quality expectations
You are an experienced water infrastructure engineer who enjoys both technical delivery and client interaction, and you're motivated to continue growing your career within a consultancy environment.
- You Will Ideally Have Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- RPEQ, or ability to obtain 5-10 years' experience in an engineering consultancy
- Strong experience in water infrastructure detailed design
- Proven ability to deliver projects and manage multiple stakeholders
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
