Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and AWS cloud services, along with proven experience leading development teams, driving technical decisions, and delivering robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Java applications.
Architect and develop scalable microservices using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to define technical solutions.
Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Implement secure coding practices and ensure application security.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
Drive continuous improvement through best practices, automation, and innovation.

Required Skills

8–12+ years of experience in Java application development.
Strong expertise in Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch, SQS, and SNS.
Experience with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Proficiency with Git and modern software development practices.
Strong understanding of design patterns, object-oriented programming, and distributed system architecture.
Experience with unit testing and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
