You ll be joining a newly formed HR team with a clear goal: raise the profile of HR across the business and become genuine partners to managers, not just the people they call when something s gone wrong.

The role

You'll be providing hands-on, generalist HR support across a busy manufacturing site, working closely with managers to solve problems, develop people, and improve the employee experience.

No two days will look the same.

You could be coaching a manager through a difficult conversation in the morning, supporting recruitment after lunch, and wrapping up an employee relations case before you head home.

• Advising managers on all aspects of HR and employment law
• Managing investigations, disciplinary and grievance cases
• Coaching managers to build confidence in people management
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding activity
• Reviewing and updating HR policies
• Assisting with payroll and HR administration
• Supporting HR audits and compliance
• Helping drive a positive, people-first culture across the site

What they're looking for

• Previous HR Advisor or HR generalist experience
• Confident managing employee relations cases
• Good knowledge of UK employment law
• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards it)
• Manufacturing experience would be a real advantage
• Someone who can build relationships, influence managers and isn't afraid to have honest conversations
