Senior Software Engineer

job summary:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll build the future of our fundraiser management platform. As we transition to an engineering-focused organization, you will work to deliver scalable production-ready code for new and existing features. We are seeking Senior Software Engineers who are passionate about building high availability, scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems with emerging technologies. This individual will deliver product changes within each sprint.

This role is hybrid in Atlanta GA- 5300 Triangle Pkway, Peachtree Corners location

Key responsibilities:

? Collaborate to deliver high-quality, high-throughput software ? Learn to implement scalable and resilient solutions using a variety of technologies ? Be hands-on to to design, develop, test, and deliver software ? Provide Consultation in meetings, code reviews, and refactoring efforts

? Partner with leadership to ensure operational success of your project ? Drive to improve designs, processes, and products by reducing cost and improving efficiency and quality

Minimum qualifications:

? Expert proficiency with one or more of the following technologies: Javascript (Node.js), Javascript (React), PHP, relational databases (MySQL/Postgres), NoSQL document stores ? Prior experience authoring technical documentation and requirements

? Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) and the ability to evaluate, integrate, and critically review AI-generated code

? Prior experience transitioning from monolithic applications into distributed architecture

? Experience with asynchronous programming

? Prior experience writing unit tests

? Expert working knowledge of software design patterns and standards, API interactions, and the software development life cycle

? Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

? A collaborative, positive attitude and strong sense of ownership

Bonus qualifications:

? Proficiency working with AWS or other cloud services

? Experience with event-driven technologies like Apache Kafka

? Familiarity with some/all of our tools: GraphQL, Gitlab, Atlassian Suite, Heap, Split.io, Datadog ? Experience creating and improving cloud-based infrastructure

? Master's degree or further education or experience in engineering, computer science or other technical related field

qualifications:

Client wants to see atleast 3 years + at one company and using their technical stack. This shows they have seen their full lifecycle through their implementation.

-5+ years experience standing up and utilizing a variety of test frameworks, including API and web UI testing

? 3+ years experience with one or more of the following: Selenium, Cucumber, Java, JavaScript, Python, and/or PHP

More Qualifications:

? Experience with AWS or other cloud services

? Familiarity with some/all of our tools: Gitlab, Atlassian Suite, Split.io, Browser Stack, Mailtrap,

Postman, Datadog, Google Analytics, Postgres, MySql

? Experience with agile development practices (scrum, kanban, XP)

? Experience with B2C products

? Master's degree or further education or experience in engineering, computer science or other

technical related field
