Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Utilities Functional Consultant / Functional Lead with strong experience in Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B/CCS) and Market Transaction Framework (MTF).
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with utility market transactions, customer switching processes, business rules, functional configuration, and cross-platform integrations. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, development and integration teams, and testing teams to deliver end-to-end solutions from functional design through UAT and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the functional design, configuration, and delivery of Oracle Utilities CC&B/CCS solutions, with a strong focus on Market Transaction Framework (MTF).
- Define and optimize business rules, market transaction configurations, and customer switching processes.
- Analyze business and regulatory requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Act as the primary functional liaison between business stakeholders, development, integration, and validation/testing teams.
- Support data conversion, functional testing, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment readiness.
- Collaborate with technical and integration teams to ensure solutions meet functional and business requirements.
- Provide functional guidance on utility market processes and customer transaction flows.
- Support end-to-end solution delivery and ensure alignment with applicable utility and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Proven functional design and consulting experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B / CCS.
- Strong hands-on experience with Market Transaction Framework (MTF).
- Deep understanding of utility market transactions and customer switching logic/processes.
- Experience with functional configuration, business rules, and solution design.
- Experience supporting UAT, data conversion, testing, and deployment activities.
- Strong knowledge of the Utilities/Energy industry.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Must be available to work during EST core business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM).
- Experience with Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter (C2M).
- Experience with Oracle Field Service (OFS) or related Oracle Utilities solutions.
Experience working with utility regulatory and market transaction requirements.
