Senior Java Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to design and develop scalable backend applications that support digital experiences in financial planning, investing, and retirement solutions. The role involves building modern, reusable applications, enhancing customer experience, and contributing across the full software development lifecycle within an agile team environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and RESTful APIs Build reusable, high-quality backend services to support web and mobile platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, operations, and systems partners Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept through deployment Modernize legacy systems and contribute to cloud-based transformation initiatives Ensure high-quality software delivery using CI/CD and DevOps practices Develop and deploy applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability Contribute to engineering best practices and share technical knowledge with team members Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in software engineering Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+) and web frameworks such as Spring Boot Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs Hands-on experience with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Kinesis, and CloudFormation Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Argo CD, Terraform, Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana Experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively Effective time management and prioritization skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar technologies for development and analysis Education: Bachelors Degree
