Job description

Our client has been a trusted partner of London Heathrow Airport for many years.

With the ambitious plans for rapid expansion in place, they have secured work for the next 10 years.

We are looking for an experienced, career minded IT infrastructure Supervisor to lead a team working across the airport undertaking the installation, termination and testing of ethernet cabling to connect equipment to the network.

The areas covered include CCTV, Access control systems, digital signage, baggage handling systems, security systems and all other network equipment as well as fibre links between buildings.

You will will be an experienced supervisor with SSSTS or SMSTS, ECS card (preferably Site Manager card) and a proven track record of achieving your delivery targets in a major construction environment under CDM regulations.

Experience of fibre work is advantageous but not key to the role.

Successful candidates can not only look forward to long term work but will be offered regular opportunities for promotion
