Job Description

Account Manager, Competitive Salary, Permanent Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts, building strong and lasting relationships.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and service reviews to ensure contractual expectations are met.
  • Monitor service delivery, SLA performance, KPIs, outstanding reactive jobs, planned maintenance, Work in Progress, quotations, engineer attendance, and completion times.
  • Proactively resolve escalated issues and work closely with internal departments to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports, review service trends, and recommend operational improvements.
  • Monitor contract performance, support invoice queries, identify additional business opportunities, and contribute to contract renewals and account growth.
  • Collaborate with operational, technical, planning, commercial, and engineering teams to ensure efficient service delivery across all accounts.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Account Manager, Contract Manager, or Client Relationship role.
  • Background within Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, Property Services, Construction, Engineering, Housing Maintenance, or a similar industry.
  • Experience managing service contracts, KPIs, SLAs, planned and reactive maintenance, and client reporting.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Commercially aware with experience monitoring quotations, Work in Progress, and contract performance.
  • Proficient IT skills, with experience using CAFM systems (JobLogic experience would be advantageous).
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
