Job Description

Our client is a successful global banking group with offices based in the City/London. With a sustained two-decade track record of steady growth, this global bank has a strong reputation in the market for developing the careers of its employees, offering a stable business with an excellent and positive working culture. Their Finance department is now recruiting for an additional headcount / resource within their Regulatory Reporting team / function. This individual will be responsible for the daily monitoring and management of regulatory large exposures, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory limits, supporting COREP reporting, and providing prudential risk insights to senior management. The role acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on large exposure regulations, working closely with Front Office, Risk, Finance, and other stakeholders to manage exposure risks, collateral processes, and regulatory reporting requirements. The individual will work to ensure all of the above returns are prepared correctly and submitted in a timely manner and to monitor and check that all regulatory changes are reflected within all relevant reports. Lastly, the bank offers hybrid working and good work-life balance.

Profile Criteria:

  1. Regulatory reporting professional with experience from the banking sector
  2. Experience in producing regulatory large exposure reporting (COREP COR002) required
  3. Strong knowledge of regulatory large exposure rules and reporting requirements under UK / European capital
  4. Knowledge and exposure to banking and capital markets products from credit risk and large exposure perspective required
  5. Strong communication and influencing skills required

The role’s remit, responsibilities and coverage:

  1. Daily large exposure monitoring process, associated investigations and resolution of potential internal or external limit breaches
  2. Intraday large exposure monitoring
  3. Management of the daily group collateral process including associated investigations and adjustments
  4. Support the preparation of quarterly COREP reports related to credit risk and large exposures
