By integrating engineering, manufacturing, modular deployment, and lifecycle services under one platform, we streamline execution and bring complex projects online faster - without compromising performance. With a robust U.S. manufacturing network, MCG supports data centers, power generation, healthcare, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and industrial facilities where uptime is non-negotiable. Mission Critical Group designs, manufactures and provides value-added services for customers requiring critical power solutions. Powering a new electric world for a brighter, more secure future.

This leader owns the monthly, quarterly, and annual close; drives consistency in accounting policies and processes across the enterprise; leads the external audit; and partners with operating unit finance teams, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Internal Controls to deliver high-quality financial information that supports decision-making as the company scales.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Drive a faster, more predictable close through standardized calendars, checklists, reconciliations, and automation across all operating units.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, including general ledger, consolidations, intercompany, fixed assets, leases, payroll and benefits, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Lead the strategic centralization of accounts payable operations, designing and embedding robust internal controls - including strict segregation of duties (SoD), automated matching workflows, and rigorous fraud-prevention protocols - to scale the function and secure corporate cash disbursements.
- Establish governance over Travel & Expense programs, implement compliance monitoring, corporate card program controls, and policy enforcement metrics to optimize spend and eliminate duplicate or fraudulent claims.
- Own the annual external audit and quarterly reviews; serve as the primary point of contact with external auditors and deliver clean, well-supported audit results.
- Establish, document, and maintain enterprise accounting policies and position papers, partnering with Technical Accounting on complex transactions (revenue recognition under ASC 606, business combinations, leases, and equity).
- Provide oversight and guidance to operating unit controllers and accounting teams to ensure consistent application of policies and a strong, scalable accounting foundation.
- Lead accounting for acquisitions, including opening balance sheet, purchase accounting support, and integration of acquired entities into MCG's close, chart of accounts, and systems.
- Partner with Internal Controls team to maintain an effective control environment over financial reporting and remediate identified deficiencies.
- Support lender and covenant reporting in partnership with Treasury, and tax provision and compliance processes in partnership with Tax.
- Champion ERP, consolidation, and reconciliation system enhancements to improve data quality, scalability, and efficiency.
