Your New Role

As Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of a statewide network infrastructure upgrade project, overseeing the replacement and commissioning of routers across multiple sites. You will manage project governance, procurement activities, vendor coordination, stakeholder engagement, risk management, asset tracking, and financial oversight. The role will require close collaboration with internal teams, external suppliers, and client stakeholders to ensure infrastructure upgrades are completed efficiently, documented appropriately, and transitioned into ongoing support. You will also provide regular project status reporting, manage resources, and drive project outcomes in line with established project management methodologies and governance frameworks.

  • Proven ability to lead project teams and manage project delivery across complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, procurement activities, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience delivering projects involving network technologies such as routers, WAN/LAN environments, telecommunications infrastructure, or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of project governance frameworks and methodologies, including PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK, or equivalent.
  • Ability to identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain project momentum within changing environments.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, or other project management and collaboration tools will be highly regarded.
  • PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project management accreditation is desirable.
What You'll Get in Return
  • Opportunity to lead a significant ICT infrastructure project with statewide impact.
  • Brisbane CBD location with flexible working arrangements.
  • Exposure to complex enterprise networking and critical technology environments.
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunity to work alongside experienced ICT, infrastructure, and project professionals.
