Lead Fluid Mechanics Engineer

Scope of Work:

We’re looking to connect with experienced Lead Fluid Mechanics Engineers who can offer ad‑hoc, project‑specific expertise. Engagement can be via Limited Company or PAYE on a zero‑hour basis. While immediate work may not be available, we’re keen to build a pipeline of interested specialists for future support

Key Requirements:

• Produce high quality deliverables to clients, meeting time and cost targets.
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and bids for new work scopes.
• Experience of CFD modelling safety studies using STAR-CCM+, FLACS or similar.
• Strong understanding of the fundamentals of fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
• Desirable: experience in the energy industry and/or consultancy setting.
• Required: CFD experience in gas dispersion, fire or blast modelling, exhaust dispersion modelling.
• Master’s Degree (MEng or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or related discipline
