Specialist-Business Development, AACU Marketing | Washington, VA, United States | On-site

We're hiring for a prominent organization within the travel and transportation industry, known for its extensive global network and commitment to employee growth. This team is focused on expanding its financial services offerings and is seeking a motivated individual to drive business development initiatives.

The Role

  • Drive awareness and promote participation in credit union products and services among strategic partners, potential members, and existing members.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key corporate partners, acting as a primary point of contact.
  • Consult with prospective organizations to understand employee financial needs and tailor product/service offerings.
  • Educate potential and existing members on the benefits of credit union membership and its full suite of offerings.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and membership drives, alongside delivering financial seminars.
  • Represent the organization at industry and community events to enhance visibility and networking opportunities.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or GED required; a college degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent financial services experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in meeting productivity and sales goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, marketing, or business development, including client relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent consultative sales skills, planning, organization, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to self-manage, work autonomously, and maintain a positive, influential attitude.
