Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled PostgreSQL Developer with expertise in database development, performance optimization, and data modeling. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable database solutions for enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views using PL/pgSQL.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Design logical and physical data models.
• Implement database backup, recovery, replication, and high availability solutions.
• Support ETL processes and data migration projects.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate database solutions with applications.
• Monitor database health and resolve production issues.
• Maintain database security, permissions, and compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL and PL/pgSQL programming skills.
• Experience with query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL replication, partitioning, and high availability.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS RDS PostgreSQL or Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of data migration tools (AWS DMS, pgLoader, etc.).
• Experience with Python, Java, or .NET integration.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
