Job Description

TSPV/TSPA Cleared - Enterprise Solution Architect Shape Future-State Technology Strategy

Join a centralised architecture function shaping a secure, integrated and future-ready technology environment. This opportunity is ideal for a senior Solution Architect who can simplify complex technology landscapes, reduce technical debt, improve enterprise resilience, and provide strategic guidance across multiple technology initiatives.

Location: Canberra - Onsite

Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options

Security Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current TSPV/TSPA clearance.

This position is open to Australian citizens with a valid security clearance due to role requirements. We are committed to a non-discriminatory hiring process but, unfortunately, cannot provide visa sponsorship for overseas applicants.

Essential Tasks:
  • Lead solution architecture outcomes to support secure, integrated and strategically aligned technology delivery
  • Drive technology rationalisation by reducing technical debt, duplication and architectural complexity
  • Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, blueprints and other key architecture artefacts
  • Identify architectural risks, dependencies and emerging technology opportunities while supporting stakeholder collaboration
Key Criteria:
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in system or platform technical design, software development or system administration
  • Strong capability across Solution Architecture, Systems Design and Requirements Management at SFIA Level 5
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse business and technical requirements and provide strategic architecture guidance
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
