Position Information
SEARCH has immediate opening for a Full-Time Billing Specialist to join our accounting team. The position can be remote, hybrid, or office going depending on candidate preference and location.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule
- Review billing data for completeness and resolve discrepancies before processing
- Maintain billing records
- Monitor aging reports and support collections efforts as needed
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to billing and account status
- Collaborate with Project Controllers to ensure correct billable information
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to revenue and billing
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement best practices
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Will accept Associates with two years’ work experience.
- Strong understanding of billing workflows, invoicing, and basic accounting principles
- Experience with Cost Point Deltek (not required but preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, data validation helpful)
