Role Summary
This position requires a highly skilled Strategic Communications Analyst to support the Stakeholder Engagement division and program leadership in their transformational and mission continuity efforts. The role involves developing, implementing, and managing strategic communication initiatives to facilitate agency goals. The analyst will work closely with senior stakeholders to produce executive briefing materials, track project progress, and ensure effective messaging across technical and operational domains.
Responsibilities
- Engage with government leaders to create executive briefing materials, memos, and talking points for internal and external audiences on technical and operational topics.
- Act as a trusted partner to the Program Manager for executive briefings while providing strategic support to the Stakeholder Engagement division.
- Coordinate review sessions of briefing materials with various government stakeholders, ensuring messaging aligns with program objectives.
- Add structure to large forums and briefing processes to support program transformation outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior government employees to deliver key materials and provide strategic insights for new and ongoing initiatives.
- Develop compelling narratives and present them effectively to senior stakeholders for alignment.
- Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving sessions related to core priorities.
- Communicate key messages to external government and industry stakeholders, managing expectations and priorities.
- Prepare and review storylines, PowerPoint presentations, and supporting documents for senior stakeholder meetings.
- Monitor progress of work across teams, guiding prioritization and resource allocation as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of strategy and/or communications experience, preferably with federal government agencies, with DoD experience preferred.
- Educational background in strategy, business management, or communications; advanced degree such as an MBA is a plus.
- Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint, with ability to craft cohesive, impactful narratives using slides.
- Experience using DoD-approved generative AI tools to prepare executive briefing outlines.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, Slack, and related tools.
- This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required
- Effective independent work capabilities, critical thinking skills, and the ability to prioritize responsibilities accurately.
Publishing Pay Range: $45.00 - $48.00 hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
